Is the stress of clutter creeping into other areas of your life?

I’ve totally been there.

My name is Carrie, and I help people get unstuck in their homes and their lives.

But let’s get real. Are you secretly wondering, “Am I too much of a mess to be helped?”

Maybe you’ve been trying to make changes for a while now but life seems to always get in the way. And when you’re already “treading water,” it’s hard to imagine how you will get your home (much less your life) organized.

I’ll let you in on a little secret…

I’m not a naturally tidy person. So I get it.

Growing up, I went back and forth between my parent’s house every week. I literally lived out of a suitcase for 10 years. My environment was really chaotic, and I didn’t have good organizational skills.

Looking back, I functioned pretty well in the mess, but deep down, I was frustrated about it all.

At college, living in a small shared space, I finally started to pick up on how the clutter impacted me. I was easily distracted and felt an underlying anxious feeling in my messy dorm room.

I vividly remember the panic as I was stress-digging in my room, looking for my other shoe before an important exam… and then almost didn’t get admitted because I was so late and wearing slippers.

The clutter just added to my stress because it felt like one more “to-do” that I wasn’t doing.

And yet, I felt too overwhelmed to even deal with my space.

After living this way for so long, I wondered, “Where would I even start, after all this time?”

And even scarier…“Is this just how I am?”

Luckily, there was a little voice inside that said I didn’t have to accept this.

It was a true “wake up moment.”

I was tired of not showing up as my best self, tired of living in a frenzy, and tired of not feeling really present with those close to me because I was distracted and flustered so much of the time.

(Not to mention, not even around because I was ALWAYS late.)

I wasn’t just ready to organize my home, I was ready to completely reorganize my life…

You can save up to 30 minutes a day by being more organized. What would you do with another 3.5 hours each week?

I started using Marie Kondo’s KonMari® method to start getting rid of all the stuff that wasn’t serving me, and instantly started feeling lighter and more clear headed.

My environment was more open, and the new space highlighted the little touches of beauty that had once been hidden. My senses were now nourished (not overwhelmed) when I entered a room.

Things felt more

manageable

and more joyful.

Making the hard decisions about my belongings primed me to be a decisive force in my own life. I was changing cities, applying for new jobs, living healthier, and creating a life filled with books, travel, nature and dogs (of course).

That’s when I decided to get certified as a KonMari® consultant and start helping people just like me get rid of the clutter, distraction and stress.

Because I’ve been there, it’s so easy to be judgement free. I’m in this with you as we reorganize your home… and even your life.
